Digital flyer

I was asked to prepare a flyer to announce an upcoming orientation event for new residents in the apartment. I applied my knowledge of visual design principles in this flyer. Use of graphics, color, hierarchy, repetition, similarity, space are some of the few principles that I thought through carefully.

I used both raster and vector images in this flyer. Vector image was used in the logo, and raster was used on the background of the flyer. Beside cropping and adding saturation to images, I used Autotone and Autocontrast features of photoshop.

This flyer has been made using Canva. I have applied Creative Common (Attribution only) License to the flyer.

Accomplishments:

• Create a scenario that makes an announcement.

• Design a logo.

• Add an image that follows the Creative Commons License.

• Design a document (flyer, poster, advert) that promotes the material.

Evaluation using media checklist

I have evaluated the above flyer using the media checklist developed last week. Since this flyer is not meant for educational use, only certain criteria are applicable as shown in the checklist below.
