A storyboard is a graphic organizer, and a powerful way to visually present information. Storyboards in instructional designs break learning content into linear, bite-sized chunks. Storyboards sequence events for video, animation, motion graphic or interactive media sequence. This allows the developer, graphic designer, subject matter expert and the ID to focus on each bit separately, without distraction.
During an employment workshop, students suggested that they will benefit from a short session on preparing an 'Elevator Pitch'. Hence, I produced this video to address this need. To help me produce the video, I wrote a storyboard using Microsoft Word for each of the 14 slides. Using the information on the storyboard, I developed a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation.
After preparing the PowerPoint presentation, I recorded the both the presentation and added audio to it using Camtasia 9. Please check both the storyboard and the the video (which I uploaded on YouTube) below.
